Any SAE approved 5w30 motor oil will work in this engine. Note: if you are working this truck pretty hard such as towing something you may want to go with a 10w40 motor oil. As for brand, any oil sold in the US has to meet minimum standards to get an SAE approval. I personally prefer Valvoline but all of them are pretty good.
