Standard heavy duty 30 weight is always good. I've seen specification for 10w-40 in manuals, though. I use 30 for everything, though. I've got 250,000 on my 94 b4000 now.
It should be located on the left side of the engine (looking at the headlights), beside the exaust manifold.
I believe it is on the drivers side of the engine , below the power steering pump

Rcommended manual transmission lubricant type: MERCON automatic transmission fluid - Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1994-2005 Mazda Pick-ups B2300, B2500, B3000, B4000.
Genuine Mazda 5W 30 Mineral non-synthetic oil.
5W/30 motor oil
Use the oil dip stick. Put a little bit in at a time, wait for it to go in to the oil pan. Dip the oil using the stick. Add more if needed. You do not need to know, just use the stick to tell you when it's full!
It should be in the oil pan.
10w-30 or 5w-30 oil, depending on your climate.
