I like penzoil 5-30 oil. clean and leaves less gunk. I drive about 304k month on my 2002 galant and with monthly changes, it looks clean in the intake manifold and the Fuel injectors as well as the general performance is good. Compared to other oils and costs, it's a good oil.
For synthetics, use 10-W30 Castrol pure synthetic is really good, so is Mobile 1. Also combine that w/ a Bosch oil filter.
My real estate agent has one that I work on and it takes 5W-20. I've always used Valvoline in everything I've ever owned, and once the cars get over 75,000 miles, I switch to maxlife.
