any gun oil or sewing machine oil will work for lubing moving parts. make sure to wipe off any excess as soon as you can and only apply it to the metal moving parts. the best method of cleaning is with a damp cloth and a mild soap. lubrication is where oils come in. If the bow is used for target shooting any commercial lubricant will work. If the bow is used for hunting, partricularly for whitetail deer, use a graphite or vegetable based oil spray like "pam" as deer find it less offensive than petroleum based products.
