get long tubes no matter what but hooker seems to be the way to go with those motors
The headers would be the same anyway, so you can order headers for the 83 and be all set.
That would be called a Chevy 307 bored .40 over.
a Chevy 350 bored .060 over would be 360.4 cubic inches
That would be a 4L60E transmission.
Well since a 427 is a Ford and the Car is a Chevy. It would be a safe bet that you are looking at Custom made Headers. Hope This Helps.
355 is a non stroked just bored 4.030 over 383 on the other hand put a 3.75 stroker crank and bored honed so i would pick 383 . 355 is bored not stroked clearence for stroker crankbest engine would say is 383
My Preference would be a 600 Edlebrock, but for those who like Holly's a 650 with vacuum secondaries would be good too. -Josh
I think Hooker headers, Alston Cassis Works, and Art Morrison ent., all make kits to install that motor, that would come with everything you will need, from headers, to motor mounts, to frame connectors.
Yes , you would have to unbolt the headers from the cylinder heads
A 327 chevy bored .10 over would be 4.1 bore x 3.25 stroke = 343cubic inches or 5.6 liters
no.
If you think about it yes they would cause headers flow better but when I say they will I'm not sure how much louder they will make your vehicle.
