Only whatever they buy from vendors who are authorised to sell their goods to US Military personnel. They have been extremely strict about forbidding "war trophies" to be brought back to the US by individuals.
Absolutely not. I can recall circa 2005 when a member of the Minnesota National Guard was found attempting to bring back two AKs... he was sentenced to ten years in federal prison, IIRC. Soldiers returning from Iraq have not been allowed to bring back war trophies of any sort, weapons or otherwise.
War bringbacks have been strictly prohibited during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
President Obama promised he went end the war in Iraq and bring the majority of our troops home. He kept that promise, and as a result, many American soldiers, sailors, and marines were in fact home for Christmas last year.
so far 4,365 soldiers have been killed in the Iraq war
as of dec 08 there were 4200 soldiers in Iraq but by July 09 there will be up to 400. .
Those who protest the war in Iraq feel that we should not be at war. They may feel that there is a need to bring our soldiers home. Whatever their reasoning may be, hopefully they are respectful in voicing their opinion.
Thus far, Iraq.

The soldiers did no go to Iraq until March 2003 and 9-11 occurred in September of 2001, so those soldiers were at home.
Because Iraq is a poor country and they have there own right to not be killed by the American soldiers
