All of the landlocked countries of Africa are in the tropics.

North of the equator are Mali, Niger, South Sudan, Chad, Burkina Faso, the Central African Republic, and Uganda (which straddles the equator).

South of the equator are Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Lesotho.
