I have a 1940 series 62 coupe. According to scarebird.com there is not a bracket to fit this model- yet. Seems they are different than the 1949-52 Cadillac. I sent them my measurements asking for a bracket that will use the original spindle and late model GM parts.
I have seen a Cadillac coupe, currently on eBay, with front disc brakes but he was unable to tell me where the brackets originated. If you find something that works and is safe, give a holler.
Thanks.
