The conflict is very complex, but the basic information is the following: African Christians and Animists in the Darfur region of Sudan were relentlessly attacked, raped, and butchered by the Arab Janjaweed militias in a systematic way and were endorsed by the government of Sudan to engage in this behavior.
The genocide that took place due to Hitler's prejudice against the Jews was the HOLOCAUST.
Bosnia, Darfur, and Rwanda are sites of genocide in the last 30 years. Within the last century, there have been numerous other genocides, such as those that took place in Germany and Turkey.
The similarities between the Rwandan genocide and Darfur are that rebel's attack government and the government's reply is to purposely kill not only the rebels but the civilians. The World hasn't and didn't do anything really to stop it. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, and many more removed from their homes. Both acts were some what supported by the government.
Because genocide is a horrendous crime against humanity and everything possible should be done to prevent it from ever taking place again.
There is no such thing as "the Arab-Israeli genocide". Nobody with any scholarly talent or acumen has claimed that the events that took place were a genocide of either Israelis or Palestinians. Genocide, as a general rule, means the destruction of a particular group, this would usually include a lot of prejudice as the reasons would label all people of that group without taking any individual cases into account.
