I don't use fog lights while driving in a foggy weather because I don't find it very useful at all. I just turn on my cars high beam lights.

There is a switch on top of the steering column dead center. You must have accidently turned it on. It's a parking light.

not sure i understand this question....the key must be turned to a certain point...the lights on the push button aren't considered a commonly used button so it must not have been a top priority.
