The Jeep renegade was made for the more outdoorsman.There alot of little things that make up the difference in the two vehicles.One is the light bar on top and the fog lights which gives it eights shining headlights.Second is that some to most renegade comes 4x4, which i dont not have nor have any use for it.The interior has a metalic trim and the interior seems to be a mix of cloth and leather on the outside or exuse me pleather.Then there is the engine its 2,429 cc 2.4 liters 4 in-line front engine with 88 mm bore, 101 mm stroke, 9.5 compression ratio, double overhead cam and four valves per cylinder -

addendum: Assuming you're referring to the XJ body style (Jeep Liberty is sold as a "Jeep Cherokee" around the world), it was only made until 2001 in the US.
