Just the US Civil War. Tennessee had some Indian wars in it's neighboring (bordering) states: North Carolina had the "Tuscarora War" in 1711; Kentucky had a fight at Blue Licks in 1782; Mississippi had a battle with the Natchez in 1729; Alabama had a fight in 1813 with the Creeks.
