The oil can cause the fan clutch to slip against the fan clutch plate. The slipping will wear out the fan clutch plate.

Do you have spark at the coil? If not it could be the coil but I would put my money on a faulty ecm. Happened to mine and the repaired ecm fixed it.
How long after you had it fixed
Samurai. (there i fixed the profanity/expletive at the end.)
take it to the shop to get fixed!
there is a self adjusting mechanism fixed to the clutch pedal that actuates wen pedal is depressed taking up the slack in the cable compensating for clutch wear hope this is of help to you
It could be that your clutch is not longer working. You should take your car to a car mechanic, so that you can get it fixed.
I had both carbs rebiult and bike will not responde when starting out. after 5 or 10 miles per hour bike runs like a champ. its just that first motion of letting out the clutch and accelerating that the bike bogs down. any ideas how to get this fixed?
94 and up came with an "auto clutch" and in 94 they were a problem! I don't know if ford ever fixed this problem
I have a 1984 RM80. All you can do is either: 1. Warm the motor up to operating temperature, then work/hold the clutch lever until it releases. ..... works sometimes. 2. Warm the motor, switch it off, out the bike in gear and try and clutch start it. (This is hard, you need to push the bike with the rear wheel locked while you force your weight down onto the seat. You'll need and assistant!) ...... works sometimes 3. Pull the clutch cover off and release them manually by disassembling the clutch itself. ...... works all the time. I bet your clutch basket has heavy grooving. This can be fixed with 10 minutes of careful filing. Good luck! Greg
Two separate problems; the bogging is probably due to the #1 problem with today's cars : a weak fuel pump/plugged fuel filter. Get that fixed first. You may have a weak clutch slave cylinder which causes hard shifting.
I'm sure you have already fixed or sold the rig, but for anyone needing info on this, there are 2 ways to find out. Get the Chiltons repair manual and browse that, or go to www.autozone.com, input your vehicle, and click on "Vehicle Repair Guides" under the Repair Info drop-box. After that, click "Engine&engine Overhaul". Once there, click "Cylinder Head" in the right-hand subsection, and read every word thoroughly.
