OK well my discovery of why a new serpentine belt squeaks is if some one does not tighten a screw or place the belt on all of the pulleys correctly then it squeals. also a highly recommended thing i found that worked on my 1994 Jeep wrangler was a spray called belt conditioner it helps tremendously, and make sure that the belt is on all the pulleys correctly.
