Many members of the WikiAnswers community got the Bronze Contributor Badge or higher. This is in no way a comprehensive list (those with ruby badges are indicated with a [ruby] next to their name)
You need more than 500 contributions to become a Bronze Contributor. More for higher levels. See "What are the various contributor levels on WikiAnswers.com?" for more information.
You become a "higher level contributor" through making a large number of contributions. Contributions include asking questions, answering questions, suggesting alternates, rewording questions, categorizing, and merging (Supervisors). * Bronze contributor: 500 contributions* Silver contributor: 5,000 contributions* Gold contributor: 25,000 contributions* Platinum contributor: 100,000 contributions* Double Platinum contributor: 200,000 contributions* Ruby contributor: 500,000 contributionsFor more information, go to the WikiAnswers Community: Decoded page (see Related Link). === === === === === === === === === === === ===
It could be that you are not logged in. When you ask a question on WikiAnswers, you do receive a "contribution" credit, the total of which is shown on the bio page of registered users. However, you will not appear on the "Contributor" tab of the Question History page. This currently displays the same edit info as below the answer window. You have to click "view complete history" which takes you to the History tab to the left! (After 500 contributions, you get the Bronze Contributor badge in place of the contributor badge. And you get a different badge as you reach higher levels.)
contribute loads (: On this site there are different levels where members achieve different badges for contributions. every time you achieve a new or higher level, badge is replaced. Bronze-500 contributions Silver- 5,000 contributions Gold- 50,000 contributions Platinum-100000 contributions Double Platinum -200,000 Ruby/top level -500k The first one for members is the bronze.
Basically just contribute a lot of quality answers, questions, merge, split, re categorize, edit etc. After 500 contributions you can become a Bronze Contributor, after 5,000 you can become a Silver Contributor and so-on and so forth. You can also become a supervisor. The more quality work you do the more you move up in rank.
The more you contribute (answer, recategorize, etc.) the higher ranked you become if you contribute enough you become contributor of the month. Remember you need to have a WikiAnswers Account for your contributions to be logged
Right now, currently, nobody has any upcoming information about anything higher than a Ruby Contributor. As of July 2012, there are only 18 users that have reached the Ruby Contributor Level. I'd say that the most common level is Regular, Bronze, and Silver. Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum, and Ruby are more common for Supervisors. This might be an excellent feature that always keeps everyone working, there should always be a higher level to accomplish, that keeps people going and knowledgeable. Maybe they'll come out with a Diamond Level or something for like five million contributions.
Going for BronzeOnce you reach 500 contributions, the badge for being a "Bronze contributor" will automatically be added to your profile; there is no need to email us. Please leave a message for Deb if you are inadvertently missing a badge (or if you spot any other user who is missing one):"UserDiscuss:Deb"Note:As you contribute more and more, you'll get awarded higher badges. To see the various contributor levels, see the Related question.
WikiAnswers' higher Supervisors are the ones who take in the suggestions and add them, regular members do not add categories or sub-categories.

There is a higher concentration of copper in a bronze statue. This is because there is a higher percentage of bronze metal in the statue.
You do not have to answer a certain amount of questions to upgrade your ranking on WikiAnswers. Any type of contribution will work to get you to the next rank. (Contribution types: messaging, editing, answering, or removing an answer, splitting and adding alternates, asking a question, and editing categories can get you contribution points. See the question "What are the various contributor levels on WikiAnswers" to see the next level you will become.
