Does the blower run? Runs only on high?
The 2005 Lesabre has the blower motor mounted under the dash. It is under the glove box on the firewall behind a panel.

The Condenser Fan Relay and the A/C Cut Relay on a Kia Sportage are located together under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. They are just aft of the heater blower motor. The Comndenser Fan Relay is the 20amp relay and the A/C Cut (compressor) relay is the 52amp relay.
The Lancer blower motor's are known to heat up and burn out. If you remove it, it is labeled with "Do Not Repair", but it is possible. If you look inside of the block, you will see a flap sticking up - that needs to be soldered down in order to work in the 1 - 3 positions. To replace the blower motor on a C230 compressor of a Mercedes Benz, remove the bolts holding the motor in place. It is next to the blower, under the passenger side of the dashboard. Replace with new and reinstall the bolts.
Either the blower motor fan switch is bad or the blower motor resistor pack is defective. It is more than likely the blower motor resistor pack.
Sometimes the blower is always on, at a low speed. If you have a system that turns off the blower completely, then you should hear nothing.
