sounds like a short, or a bad ground.
I have found that everyone with a digital readout in their Chevy Blazer has this problem. It is faulty sauldering in the electronic computer panel located in your steering column. I had my dad resaulder all the connections at work, and they seem to work well after that.
Every GM digital dash of that era has this issue. Just like any electrical circuit the caps and/or resistors go bad. For a permanent fix you can get used repaired motherboards for about $35 on Ebay. By the way, set aside a large chuk of time to get the dash apart. It's a bugger.

Another Thought for anCheck the fuses, I believe it is the "Gauges" or "Illumination" fuses. This may not be the problem, but it doesn't hurt to check simple stuff before spending a lot of money and time. The lights on the odometer on a 1999 Chevy Blazer might not work because of a burned out fuse. They might also not work if the lights are burned out.
A blown fuse can make your dashboard lights to not work in your 1993 Chevy Blazer Tahoe. A burned out bulb can also cause this.
might be a fuse
Probably a blown fuse. What you need to find out is why the fuse blew.
If a Passat 04 TDI's indicator lights are not working, check the fuse. A blown fuse can cause the lights to stop working.
There are several things that can cause everything to go dead when you bump the starter. The most common cause will be a loose or corroded ground wire.
engine misfire. i have a '96 Chevy blazer but i don't have that problem, i was reading reviews on the car and found out that some of them do that.
It is your multifunction switch that has gone out. It is located in the steering column. I used my emergency lights and it blew out brake lights, turn signals, and emergency lights. In newer models Chevy did a recall not so for our older models. Mine is a 1995.

Bad brake booster.
