What enzyme adds nucleotides of RNA to make the mRna?

RNA Polymerase is the enzyme responsible for adding RNA nucleotides to make mRNA.

Why rna primer is used instead of dna primer?

There are basically two types of enzymes that can bind to DNA and copy it. The DNA polymerase and the RNA polymerase. The RNA polymerase, which copies DNA into RNA, will only bind to single stranded DNA, in other words areas of the DNA where the nitrogen bases holding the two strands of nucleotide units together have been separated. On the other hand the DNA polymerase that copies DNA into DNA will only bind to DNA that is double stranded. So in lies the dilemma. To make a copy of the DNA the DNA polymerase is use, but it will not bind to single stranded DNA so there is no way to make a DNA primer using aDNA polymerase, but the RNA polymerase will bind to single stranded DNA and there for can be used to make a small RNA primer on the open strands of DNA. Now the DNA polymerase has place that is double stranded and can attach and start copying the DNA.

The enzyme responsible for making RNa is called what?

RNA helps make up the DNA by having the sugar and other impotant things that helps the RNA make the DNA.

How does the polymerase chain reaction make DNA more reliable?

It allows scientists to quickly make many copies of DNA

Why taq polymerase is strored at very low temperature as it is thermostable?

to store taq DNA polymerase at low temperature is to make it viable or we can say inactive for sometime. it doesnt die or decay but remains viable.

What must happen to a DNA molecule before RNA ploymerase can make RNA?

The double strand helix is opened by enzymes called helicase and this allow the RNA polymerase to copy the DNA strand. The double strand helix is opened by enzymes called helicase and this allow the RNA polymerase to copy the DNA strand.

Where does the messenger RNA have to travel to after transcription?

The process wherein messenger RNQ (or mRNA) is given a message is called transcription. In this process, n mRNA molecule is made (or transcribed) using DNA as the template. Essentially, the nucleotide sequence on a gene is read by an enzyme called RNA polymerase which synthesizes the mRNA molecule. Put simply, RNA polymerase scans the length of DNA until a gene is encountered. When the enzyme reaches the correct position, it begins adding complimentary nucleotides to make the mRNA molecule. This way, the entire gene is transcribed and copied on to the mRNA molecule.

Why do diffusion and osmosis happen?

they make the concentration of the solute equal inside and outside of the molecule.

How are errors in the replication process corrected?

"... errors are corrected in DNA is through the use of the enzyme DNA polymerase. This enzyme is the same one that matches nucleotides that create a new strand to the old strand of a molecule of DNA. After DNA polymerase creates the new molecule of DNA, it checks its work, to make sure that it didn't try to match a nucleotide with its incorrect pair." -taken from last editors paper.

What enzyeme helps a cell to make a strand of rna?

RNA polymerases

What is used to make many copes of DNA?

Polymerase chain reaction

Does a nucleotide contain polymerase?

No; polymerase is a Protein that is made up from [or comprised of] Amino-Acids. While Amino-Acids make up - or comprise - proteins, nucleotides are the building 'blocks' for both DNA and Rna.

What enzyme us used to make radioactively labeled DNA?

DNA polymerase

What is the name of the enzyme that copies the sense strand to make mRNA?

RNA polymerase

What does DNA polymerase in DNA replication do?

DNA polymerase attaches (polymerizes) nucleotides together to make polynucleotides using a strand of DNA that has already been unzipped by DNA helicase.
