The American Colonists were the primary opposition to the United Kingdom during the American Revolution. They were aided directly by France and Spain in the colonies as well as several Native American tribes, including: the Oneida, the Tuscarora, the Watauga Association, the Catawba, and the Lenape. Prussia and Poland sent military advisors to the American Colonists but did not use military force against the United Kingdom themselves.

Additionally, the United Kingdom had to deal with wars in the Caribbean, in the North Sea, and in India contemporaneously with the American Revolution. In the Carribean, they fought with the France, Spain, and the Netherlands. The Netherlands also opposed the United Kingdom in the North Sea. In India, the Sultanate of Mysore allied with France against the United Kingdom.

So, in brief: American Colonists, France, Spain, Netherlands, several Native American Tribes, the Sultanate of Mysore, and Prussia and Poland to a lesser degree.
