In all honesty, the best way to convert from 2wd to 4wd is to sell the 2wd and buy a 4wd. You will spend more to do a conversion than the Amigo is worth.

What type of vehicle, 4X4? FWD? RWD?

Yes, most SUVs like Nissan Murano & Acura MDX have that ability.

Front Wheel Drive. ( FWD ).

most cadillacs from 1985 and up are fwd. except the broughams

front wheel drive (FWD)

No, unless you change the undercarriage and everything needed.

stupid question. they are all RWD or AWD or both. not just FWD

to put a 99 fwd in low you must put the truck in neutral then ingage the transfer fo fwd low if the transmission is not in neutral in most vehicles it will not allow fwd low to be used

you have to remove the spindle and press the old ones off

Underneath the hood, near the firewall, there is a FWD fuse which will put the car in FWD for towing, tuning, etc. The car should not be driven in FWD mode unless it is necessary. Refer to your Owners Manual for more information. If Fwd and the front tires are on the dolly. yes.If Fwd and the front tires are on the dolly. yes.

you take away the other 3 wheel functions and boom it is a first wheel drive

AWD = All Wheel Drive FWD = Front Wheel Drive

FWD does standard for front wheel drive - and all Taurus/Sable are...

Fwd stands for forward, which is a way of sending a message to multiple people at once.

It is not the engine that determine if it is FWD or RWD it is the transmission and how it is designed. You could take an engine out of a FWD vehicle and install it in a RWD vehicle if you had the skill and money to do so.

Not at all. Two completely different blocks

by taking 4 bolts out and get a new one and put them back in

this question needs to be defined a lil more cause it varies fromtruck to truck. but pull off the wheel, and the brake caliper. pull off the nut that holds the rotor and the wheel bearing should come right off with a little help of a hammer

That can only be answerd on opion's... If you try them both (AWD or FWD) you will be able to answer that question yourself. :)
