as a parts associate in a Harley Davidson dealer, in a twin cam Dyna you use 4 qts in the engine, FORMULA + in the transmission (1 qt if 6 speed, 18-20oz if 5 speed) and FORMULA + ALSO in the primary. We sell the most of engine oil HARLEY DAVIDSON BRAND 20w50 for engine, formula + is a oil on its own, very light weight. If you use synthetic, you should use in ALL 3 areas though. and I would stick to the Harley Davidson brand oil.
Where is the oil drain plug on 99 dyna super glide
There is no such bike. In '92 there was an FXR Super Glide, an FXDC Dyna Glide Custom, or an FXDB Dyna Daytona. Do you mean oil drain plug? If the bike is, indeed a Dyna, there's a plug on the bottom of the oil tank which is below the transmission. If it's an FXR the drain hose for the oil tank is under the left side plastic cover.
