According to one of Ford's websites : For the 4.6 liter V8 engine in a 1994 Ford Crown Victoria : ( Motorcraft FL-820 engine oil filter )
You don't. Fram makes an inferior filter. Use a quality filter such as Purolator, Wix, or Motorcraft if you want that engine to last.
Exactly the weight the manufacture recommends probably 5w30. I use Pennzoil brand oil and have never had an internal engine problem in 45 years. Also important is the oil filter you use. On a GM vehicle I recommend you use an AC/Delco oil filter. They are a highly rated filter. Also do not forget the very important Air Filter, Replace the Air Filter every 36,000 miles.
Anyplace that sells oil filters can tell you the correct one to use.

The 1994 firebird V8 5.7 liter use a TG30. This stands for a Fram Tough Gaurd 30 oil filter. The numbers in front of the 30 can be different, but it has to have a 30 after them. Also if you go to your local auto parts store, they can tell what filyer you need.
