oil drain plug vw jetta 2002
no oil or low oil pressure
Capacity is 5.3qts., and calls for a 5w-30.
A 1997 VW Jetta 2.0L I4 requires 4.2 imperial quarts of oil.
The Volkswagen Jetta was produced from the years 1979 to present and the oil capacity for a 2009 Jetta 2.5 is six quarts. The type of oil that a 2009 Jetta 2.5 will take is 5W-40 or 5W-30.
I guess it has a total oil capacity is 4.5 qts
The 2006 VW Jetta oil drain plug will be on the bottom of the oil pan. You can remove the drain plug with a 9/16 wrench.
How do you change the oil filter on a Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L 2007 five cylinder?
It will hold 4 quarts.
Pretty close to 5 quarts.
wne your changing the engine oil you need 4.5 litre
Depends on your environment. Look in the owners manual. I use 10w-30 in my 1997 Jetta VR6 year-round.
Should be approx. 4.5L with an oil filter change. I recommend using Shell rotella 15w-40 oil. -1991 Diesel Jetta/1986 Diesel Golf/ 1985 Gas Jetta owner
A 2002 VW Jetta with the 2.0 liter engine takes 4.2 quarts of oil. 4 would probably be fine.
if the jetta is the 1.8 gl engine then it will require 5 litres of 10w/40 semi synthetic engine oil.

It is a 19mm nut located on the lower back side of the oil pan. The oil filter is in the front.
