Every time a woman conceives a child, her risks of endometriosis decreases as well as with taking an oral contraceptive. One study showed that a twenty-eight year old female who was suffering from incapacitating symptoms of endometriosis. This woman had a high glycemic index diet with little protein. Her doctor changed her diet dramatically and she began including fish in her diet on a regular basis as well as small amounts of red meat, nuts, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, dried fruit and rye bread.
