the push rods are different lenghts intake are smaller and exhaust are bigger

It SHOULD be on the steering column on the right side above the ignition (where you put the key) I just recently got a 98 Monte Carlo and that's where mine is (its just missing the button) and there's a hole where the button should be, if yours is like mine where the button is missing if you push your finger in, it will turn your hazard lights on and again to turn them off. Remove panel under glove box has twoclips push towards firewall and panel will come down you will see blower has three screws and unhook wires.
The blower motor is under the glove box look and you will see two black clips push them back towards firewall and panel will drop down to see motor.
