However most countries do not celebrate the independence days of other countries because of lack of relevance to their own lives. In the U.S.A we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but more as another day to drink irresponsibly. this practice was Incorporated by various beer and liquor companies as a marketing tool to boost sales.
