They are for deleting things, mainly text but also other items on your document like graphics. The Delete key removes the character to the right of the cursor, or anything that is selected. The backspace removes the character to the left of the cursor, or anything that is selected.

Open firefox and type 'about:config' into the address bar and press enter. In the search field type backspace, if you haven't done anything in firefox's config file (prefs.js) there should be a single integer value displayed. Right click and select Modify. Setting the value to 0 will set backspace to go back in your history 1 page. Setting it to 1 will cause the browser to scroll upwards when backspace is pressed. Setting it to any other value will cause the backspace will do nothing.I did not write this. Credit due to Zener on http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050111124142738

Some Cavalier and Pontiac fit the same wheels. Bolt pattern is 5x100.
Nope.....unless you possibly have a universal trans. The only thing that will bolt to a Chevy trans is a Chevy. The Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac share the same pattern with each other.
If there are characters before it, it will remove the character and go back one space. If there are no other characters, it will stay where it is.
Pontiac Chevy PU motor switchIf you try hard enough. Depends on what transmission is in the truck. Some had duel bolt pattern where the motor and trans. bolt together. Chevy has a different pattern than all othe GM's All other GM's interchange except for Chevy. Chevy, all motors, rear wheel drive will interchange, 1955 to at least mid 90's probably current.
All Chevy V8's and inline 6 use the same bolt pattern and it is different from the bolt pattern used for Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac. A transmission that fits one Chevy V8 or inline 6 will fit any other V8 or inline 6. Not sure if V6 uses the same pattern.
Chevrolet's used a different bolt pattern from other GM's. An adapter would be required.
