President of the Senate
The Vice President is the President of the Senate. He presides over the Senate and casts the tie breaking vote.
In reality, however, this position is more symbolic. The President Pro Tempore presides over the Senate in the Vice Presidents absence (which is often) and the Majority Leader has most of the power.
