What reasons did Japan have for invading Manchuria?

the reason they invaded was because they needed raw materials and china was the closest place with them so the said that the Chinese had blown up one of their train stations and so that was a good enough reason to invade

Raw materials in Manchuria included: Oil, Iron Ore, Gold, Silver, Coal, Bauxite (for aluminum)
