Actually, yes, there are some snakes who eats crickets. There are many snake breeds who are too small to even eat pinkie mice, so crickets are another good way for snakes to get nourishment and not starve.
A few of these snakes include:
Green Whip Snakes (Who also eat other small insects)
Several species of Shovel Nose Snakes
Green Grass Snakes
As well as Northern Brown Snakes, but I do not know if they can be have as pets.
The grass snake and the garter snake both feed primarily on insects even though both do enjoy to have a fuzzy or pinky mouse every once in a while. As young, crickets would be okay but they should have something larger like an earthworm. On numerous occasions I have caught wild garter snakes with earthworms in their mouths! Even some with small birds, fish and frogs.
Many species of garden and ribbon snakes will eat crickets.
none really the only time a snake eats crickets is when they are hatching's or they can be fed baby mice or "pinkies"

pinky mice or baby crickets
It depends on the snake. Garter snakes and garden snakes eat them but otherwise they probably won't. You could try to put a couple in the cage and see if they will eat it. If they don't then you should feed them something else. Like mice.
Yes!They eat snakes and lizards and crickets poop!! -discusting!!
