A man is legally responsible for his actions and any claims thereon as father of a child. I must add that Birth Control in itself is no guarantee that a woman can't become pregnant. As a contraceptive, birth control is only 99.9% effective even if taken correctly.
i first got my birth control at tapestry health clinic. the reason i got it was because i had unprotected sex and wasnt sure if i was pregnant. first i got Plan B, or the morning after pill. shortly i went back and asked to get on birth control. they ask you questions about what kind of birth control you want, the pill, the ring, or patches...etc. they also ask why you and it and personal questions about your partner(s). they ask about your period and tell you when to start taking it and if you have any questions. this may differ if you go to your doctor for birth control.
I started one week late, taking the pill.. I had unproctected sex during the first 6 days.. as I was told that you can't get pregnant the first 6 days after your period.. so I started the pill the following Sunday & continue to have unprotected sex... Can I get pregnant???
Talk to your doctor about the benefits of DEPO PROVERA it is a shot you get once every three months, and you can go off it at any time. I was on Depo for four years, and it did take five months for me to have a period, but my doctor said I could get pregnant immediatly after stopping depo. I don't know if I really could have, bc I wasnt trying, but it is a good birth control. the birth control pill is also a good method to take because you can get pregnant soon after you stop taking it. Non-Hormonal IUD: Once its out, there is no longer a hostile environment for the sperm so in theory, you could conceive 5 mins after having it removed.

Depending on the laws in your state, its possible. Find out what the age of maturity or consent is and you will have your answer. Most states is 18. That means that if someone wanted to press charges that the 17 year old could be arrested for statutory rape. If the parents of the girl knew she was seeing an older guy and allowed it, its sad at this point that that would happen because if she wasnt on birth control or the boy wasnt using any this is inevitable.
Don´t worry. Women have irregular periods all the time. Even women with regular periods get irregular periods from time to time.
