The Persian Wars were wars fought between the Ancient Greek City States and the Achaemenid Persian Empire in around 490 B.C.E. There was no such thing as Iraq at that time, but Mesopotamia, the region of Iraq, was part of the Persian Empire and supplied soldiers and engineers for the Persian War Effort.

If by "Persian War" you actually meant "the Persian Gulf War of 1990-1991", Iraq was a primary actor, invading and annexing the nearby principality of Kuwait until being forcefully ejected by a United Nations coalition led by the United States in the following year.
