That depends on what kind of worker you are. I have a small Elu mitre saw with a 9" 120 tooth carbide blade that I use for all interior trim . It makes beautiful cuts, and to preserve the sharpness of this expensive blade, I cut all heavier woods on a 12" DeWalt mitre saw.
