Well, its always best to be honest.
So i would tell him politely that he forget to give you
your speeding ticket however tell him you are only visiting
the place and you have a license.
Often its best to be honest, and when you are honest
you might just might be let off the ticket as he will
think how amazing you are to tell him that he forget
the ticket. Be honest often ends up winning the
situation. :)
