Fuel or lubrication? Lubricant looks like petrol engine lubricant, fuel is like paraffin/kerosine.
should be on top of the engine. it doesent look like a normal fuel filter.
It looks like diesel. All diesel has sulfur in it, because all crude oil has sulfur in it. The sulfur lubricates the engine, so they leave it in there on purpose.
Amazon.com sell diesel engine manuals online. You should also look at half.com for these manual as well.
Who cares it's a cheapskate diesel. Grow a pair and get a turbo charged petrol engine, just compare like for like so take your 2.0 ltr diesel and look at the equivalent 2.0ltr petrol it will make the diesel look poor. Its a diesel get over it.
Change oil and filters regularly
ensure there is diesel in the car. Turn on ignition but don't start the engine yet. Watch dashboard and look for a small light (not ignition light) look for a heater plug light. When this goes off then turn ignition full turn and engine should start.
Where is the starter and what does it look like on 2002 f250 ford diesel?
if it is a 3ltr diesel follow the top hose to the engine and that the housing for the thermostate

No only if its got a 't' in it. It will be 70 BHP diesel, same as 1.6 petrol (But all Diesel engines are a "turbo" - it's how the diesel engine works." All diesel engines are not turbo charged !!! The easiest way to identify if the engine is turbo charged is to look at the exhaust manifold and see if you can see a turbo, a normally aspirated engine will have the exhaust pipe straight on to the manifold a turbo charged engine will have what look like bulges in the manifold area with a small rod and vacuum pipe (this controls the waste gate). On the 306 the easiest way to identify either way is to open the bonnet and look at the engine, if there is a unit on top of the engine that looks like the radiator this is the 'intercooler' and the engine is turbo charged if this is not present and there is a black air box then this is normally aspirated and does not have a turbo !!
