What should be done if the SRS light on a 1995 Honda accord stays on?
This is a common problem with many Honda models if it bugs you go to the dealer and ask them to let you know what problem is - it may be a faulty seat belt sensor problem, or other simple fix problem.
Honda programs the light to come on at certain mileage intervals. After 5,000 miles, it will blink for 5 seconds upon starting. After 7,500, it stays on until reset. The purpose of the light is to remind you to change your oil. You should perform the reset sequence each time you change your oil. Once reset, it will come on again at the aformentioned intervals.
I thought with the s-light on you put the car in sports mode from the button on the side of the gear shifter. I had this happen and actually had fun driving the car a bit faster than usual. just click on the button again to make the s-light come off. Computer has placed the transmission in limp mode. Take it to a transmission professional as you have a serious problem.
The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) light will come on briefly when the system is activated. It will also come on and stay on if you turn the system off by pushing the VSA button. If the light comes on and stays on and the VSA button has not been pushed, then stop and turn the engine off. Restart the engine to reset the system, and if the light continues to stay on take the vehicle…
On some car models alternator light stays on until approx 1200 rpm when the engine starts. I'm not sure why this is, maybe something with the rectifier or diodes ... If this phenomenon is new for the car then checking drive-belt condition and tension is good idea. Ift he belt is ok, and you still have that problem, you will have to take the car to a shop that can check your alternators condition.
According to the Owners manual, for a 2000 Accord LX, (2001?),page 84-86. You must have a garage door remote control! Press the desired key to use on the Honda panel and the remote key. The Honda panel red light will begin to flash slowly at first, then rapidly. The key code should now be learned by the Honda transmitter, and open/close the door. To expand on this you can hold the first and third buttons…

If the light stays on solid, then the sport mode is engaged on the car. Located on the side of the gear shifter is a button, it activates the sport mode. Sport mode allows the transmission to shift gears at higher RPM's increasing your acceleration rate but decreasing your MPG. If the light blinks, then the car is having transmission issues with higher gears. Get the car to a mechanic ASAP
Most likely it is your master cylinder that has to be fixed. I had a simulator thing on Honda Accord. You can check it by seeing if your fluid is getting lower. If it does it a leak somewhere and your master cylinder is fine, but find the leak ASAP. If the fluid level stays the same the 90% it is your Master Cylinder that has to be fixed.
The check engine light comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, a check engine light is lit when there is a problem in the emissions or somthing that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions. If the check engine light is flashing a misfire has been detected
The ALB light on your Honda accord 91 stays on changed brakes checked lamp still on what should you do?
Reset ECU, get trouble codes stored in ECU. (a factory service manual is a good investment) Check ALB Fuses, check fluid level in ALB master cylinder (on passenger side). Check for damage to wheel sensors or wiring. After vehicle startup, you should hear the ALB pump run briefly to pressurize system. No sound may mean failed pump, blown fuse, etc.
What parts make up the TCS system and which would you recommend replacing when the indicator light comes on and stays on in a 2003 Honda Accord?
I had the ABS light the light (which is the TCS indicator light) and the TCS light all on at the same time. Turned out to be one of my ABS sensors. According to my repair manual it states many diff things with all 4 lights involved with the TCS/ABS system. If its just the TCS system and not ABS then you will have only the TCS light on. If you have all 4 lights…
Should the airbag light come on when I have just turned on the ignition on my Daewoo Matiz like the oil light etc?
You have a 1991 Honda accord and your overdrive light stays on at all times you just got a motor put in it and now your car wont go into third gear at all Why is that?
The transmission was not hooked up right... OR the motor was from ANOTHER Year/model of Honda and it came with the transmission from THAT Year/model. The replacement transmission does not have overdrive so it could not be hooked up electrically or otherwise -- so the light is always on AND the transmission model is only a "2 speed" instead of a "3 speed" transmission or the transmission is not hooked up correctly. Sorry can't be…
