white smoke is the result of coolant mix with gas in cylinder and mean you have blown head gasket
usually there are two cylinder next to each other have low compression
Not probably. It was caused from overheating.
white smoke is burning of water, did they have the head pressure tested(could be cracked), also was it checked for warping, have a leak donw test done
If white smoke is coming from the exhaust you have a blown head gasket, cracked head, or both. If you have been driving this car in this condition very long then you have done serious internal engine damage. If this just started, stop driving the car immediately. The repair is to replace the head gasket and inspect the head for damage.
Already been done. Diesel Particulate Filters and Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
More then likely its a buildup of moisture that is being passed through the exhaust. To make certain its not antifreeze, take a brief smell of the white smoke if its sweet smelling its coolant.
Black smoke= rich condition(too much fuel and not enough air). Blue smoke = burning oil(engine components excessivly worn). White smoke= possible blown head gasket. Check oil to see if coolant is mixing in. Also check coolant level to see if it is loosing it. Have cylinder compression test done to verify head gasket problem. Other possibilities are a cracked cylinder head or engine block.
White smoke is usually an indication of coolant in the combustion chamber. If you are loosing coolant, have the cooling system pressure tested. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?UseCase=S001&UserAction=viewSimpleDiagInfo&Parameters=info
Intake= .010" Exhaust=.020" This should be done on a cold engine.
White smoke from the exhaust is a classic symptom of coolant entering the combustion chamber caused by a blown head gasket or cracked head. If you have been driving this car in this condition for very long then it is loosing oil because the coolant mixed with the oil has caused severe engine bearing and ring wear. You may have done so much damage that a complete overhaul is required. You will know when the heads are removed.
white smoke almost always means your lawnmower is burning oil. this could mean either your piston rings are worn and need to be replace ( can be done easily if you have the tools) or you have too much oil in the motor.
If you don't like it, leave until they're done.
replace or rebuild engine, its kaput!
