I think you should get a DSi because they have more advantages and have the same lighting as the DS lite. The DS lite is just a DS with really good lighting. I have a DS and its really old and it doesnt have very bright lighting. The only advantage the DS and the DS lite have compared to the DSi is that the DSL and the DS both have a GBA game port at the bottom. So if you want a GBA port you should get a DS Lite but if you are okay without having GBA games you should get a DSi. I personally think you should get a DSi because you could always get a GBA and GBA games arent that up to date and they dont always have the best graphics. So i think the DSi would be the best pick in my opinion.
$100
Yes. You can play fossil fighters on the DS, DSL and the DSi. You can play all* ds games on the DSi. *Unless they have an accsessory that uses the GBA slot
the dsl ( ds lite) doesnt have a camera, internet, or a sound mixer, or a store online for more apps for the dsi (like the wii shop)
DS - $69 DSL - $99 or $129 (depends on color) DSi - $169
Good News Yes You Can But DSL Not DS Hope I Helped
Some shops allow part trading, however, the Nintendo DSi does not need Nintendo DS parts. Gamestop is currently offering the trading of the DSL for the DSi. If you trade in your DSL then you can get $70 towards the DSi (which is currently priced at $170). :) Yes that is right but the deal is no loger avaible!!!
Alpha and Omega is out for DS, DSi, & DSL only. You can buy it @ GameStop or Order It online. (not available at Walmart)
The DSi has two cameras, shop and can't play GBA games. The DSL has no cameras, no shop and can play GBA games.
New:DS : Not around in shops anymoreDSL: £100-110 ($200)DSi : £140-160 ($270)Used:DS : £50-60 ($100)DSL: £70-75 ($140)DSi : Not many used ones on market yet.Note: DSL stands for DS Lite
Sadly, no. DSi games cannot be played on the DS or the DSL. The DSi features games that are specifically formatted for it,and some can be downloaded from the DSiShop (online) therefore, the DSi can play all the DS and DSL games, but its games cannot be played on the older versions.
Nope. Sadly, you cannot because some of the games require a camera, the internet, etc. The DSi can play all Nintendo DS and DSL games, however.
because it is not compatible with the DSi only with the DS.
