I don't know where it comes from that girls think boys will chase after them if they play hard to get, but you can really forget about that if he's not a really persistent and airheaded idiot. What you think were signs of liking or are signs of not liking might actually mean nothing at all. The best way to find out what he thinks about you is by talking to him. If he doesn't like you he'll try to get rid of you, and you will probably be able to tell whether he's really trying to get rid of you or only shy and doesn't know what to say.
