This is a difficult question to answer as it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. I go by rules of thumb. For all road driving, I run all my tires at maximum suggested cold tire pressure. This saves fuel and makes the tires last longer. You get a somewhat harsher ride, but you are in an SUV, so who cares. Never run your tires less than 25% of maximum cold pressure at high speeds unless you really like buying new tires all of the time and love changing tires on the road due to a blow out. Low tire pressure (less than 20 psi) is used for mud, sand, off road in rocks, and very loose dirt. It should only be used for low speed driving as it will damage tire sidewalls if run for at road speeds and cause early tire failure.
My 2003 4 runner is recommended for 32psi. Check the drivers door jam. On it you will most likely find a sticker telling you the correct tire pressure.

Its not a matter of the type of car but the type of tire. Look on the outside of the tire and there will be an area with the max load and max air pressure. Jonathon
fill all 5! tires to the proper pressure, even the spare will transmit and trip the light
anywhere from a 28 inch tire to a 31 inch tire.
The front tire pressure for a 98 Toyota Corolla should be 32 psi. The sidewall of the tire has the tire pressure stamped in the material.
The tire jack is located under the back passenger seat. There should be something to pull the seat up with.

The light should reset itself after all 5 tires are at the correct pressure. Yes, you have to do the spare tire too. If the light stays on after pressures have been corrected, you need to contact your dealer. The light should reset itself after all 5 tires are at the correct pressure.
