Well simple the best way is to tell it straight into your friend face that you like you friend. Nothing beats the truth. Unless of course your friend's new friend is also your good friend then it is better not to tell your friend. Sometimes it is better to tell than to keep it all hidden inside and forever regret in you whole life.
