check for rust or something blocking it or in the way of any mechanism it contains first, as stated before, insure that there is nothing physically blocking the movement of the blades path as it swings open, rust can be removed with WD-40, and then lubricate the pivot area with either a silicone based lubricant or mineral oil...both work very well with switchblades. Then check that the safety mechanism (if any) is not boken in the "on" position, and ensure the release button can be depressed when the safety is disengaged. if all else fails, remove the hex screws or rivets holding the knife together (or send it to the company or third party repair shop) to open up the knife to see if the spring is kinked or stuck, this will not allow the blade to deploy even if everything else is in proper working order and there is no rust.

Well Same thing for every flip, If You drop your flip on the ground a few times or hit it HARD against something then your flip well just turn off and it wont turn on again ever which means, you just broke your flip. But somehow my cousin dropped his on a rock and then it wouldn't turn on for a long time, then one day its just turned on. so its like a little break fro you flip camera. p.s even if you charge you flip for all day and it still wont turn on.
