I was in a smilar situation. I left my husband of 10 years simply because I fell out of love and I felt that we grew apart. In all honesty it was the hardest thing in the world that I have ever done but probably the best thing I've ever done. Just stick to your guns and don't look back. Don't give false hopes of something that just isn't there anymore. In the end it will all be worth it. It will be hard and bumpy, but you can do it. Especially if there are kids involved. I had 2 at the time and I came from a home where my parents didn't love each other and "stayed together for the kids," I grew up knowing it and watched as my parents wasted 20 years of their lives. That may be why I had the courage to do it. Whatever you decide..GOOD LUCK. Work it out. Chances are, if you divorce, you'll still have that dissatisfaction for your life. Try every possible avenue for fulfillment before you disregard 11 years. It's not as if you're just dating. You need to seriously take a look at yourself, and stop blaming other people for your unhappiness. And whatever you do: don't get addicted to the way he is trying to make you stay. You have insecurity issues that if indulged, will land you right in Lonely Land. Spend your energy exercising, writing, or going to cultural events (which are usually free). If you can't, because you have kids to attend to then... need I say more? You married him 11 years ago for a REASON. How quickly we do forget.
