What should you do if you always buy your soon-to-be husband almost everything but he never really buys you anything?

Why are you getting married to this guy? Is it because you love him or is it because you want him to be a good provider and you want him only so that he can give you things? Come on! Gifts are superficial! This guy probably doesn't expect gifts from you. Why should he? If love is what you want then why should either of you expect gifts from each other constantly. If you enjoy the act of giving and you give to him because it makes you happy then why are you worried if he doesn't give you anything in return? Loving someone is to give to that person...not necessarly in gifts but in kindness and love without expecting anything in return. You shouldn't be expecting him to give you gifts. If you really love him you should just want to be with him and spend the rest of your life with him. Not want him to buy you things. If he had no money would you still be with him? If he isn't responding to all the things that you're buying him, gifts probably aren't that important to him....but that's the way it should be. If you enjoy giving him gifts, then continue doing so...but you shouldn't expect any gifts back. Is that the reason you're giving to him? Because you want something in return? Bad! YOu need to make up your mind if you really love this guy as much as you think you do. You also need to keep in mind that he may not know what sort of things to buy you...maybe he's worried that you won't like what he gets you. It's hard to say. But remember this..."
