If you have a good male friend, then talk to him and see if you can go out on a double date. If he agrees then go ask that girl out! Double-dating is not only fun, but it also takes the nervousness out of being around someone you care about and you feel more secure with your friend. If you do have to be alone with her a little then ask her what her favorite bands are, what movies she likes, etc. One can go on and on with these topics. All of us at one time or other had to ask someone out or were asked out and some of us were very shy, but you do it! If you can't find a friend to go along on the date then take her to a movie. You don't have to talk in a movie and that will help out a little until you get to know her better. Good luck Marcy Take the chance or you will never know what you are missing. Life is too short to be shy! Make a plan with some mates to do something you all enjoy whether it is Bowling, swimming a movie and a meal or whtaever, then ask her to join your group.
