The question doesn't say if you suffered the accident or you caused the accident. There is a BIG difference. All states and locales may have varying laws on this but as a general rule, the jurisdictions I am aware of require that accidents causing over $100. in damages be reported within 24 hours of their occurrence, or of their being found. Yours may vary - check with local law enforcement. On the other hand - If you caused the accident and haven't reported it, you are guilty of 'Hit and Run,' and could be prosecuted for that offense.
