  • To lose weight you should moderate your calories and carbohydrates and engage in cardio exercise. I know people always say this, but it works.
  • Some research shows that people who eat breakfast are less likely to be overweight. So, you might care to eat breakfast. I think that you should also count calories and eliminate, or strictly limit, refined (processed) carbohydrates. See the page link for a long list, further down this page, listed under Related Links. In addition, engage in regular cardio exercise, such as cardio walking to lose weight, and weight training if possible. If you do not have the time to set aside a time for cardio walking, and you catch the bus to work, get off several stops early and cardio walk the rest of the way. When possible walk/ride on a bike to the shops. You should not become or bulimic, just eat healthy food.
  • Breakfast is the worst thing to eat. Why? For overweight or obese people self control is difficult and when you wake up and eat you just started your entire craving day. That best advice I can give you is a zero carbohydrate diet. It helped me to lose a load of weight easily. In addition to working well, there are so many other good foods to eat that don't have carbohydrates, or negligible carbohydrates, or very few. The only exercise I had done was ride my bike a mile per week. That's it! I was losing about 8 pounds a week.
