He most likely didn't carry the entire cross. That would have been inefficient to the Roman mind. The upright beams most likely were kept at the place of execution. The cross beam would have been carried by the condemned on their way there. It would have rested on both of his shoulders.

There isn't a specific answer to this question... The Bible never tells us but it is likely that as he was struggling all the way to the hill where the cross was planted he used both shoulders.

When Orthodox Christians cross themselves, they use the first three fingers, representing the Holy Trinity, and the other two fingers are placed against the palm, representing the dual nature of Christ (God and Man). What the meaning of own cross to bare?

It refers to a burden that one has to carry on their own. It doesn't always mean that it is a physical burden, it may be a psychological burden. It isn't something that can be shared or off loaded. It is a reference to the Biblical account that Jesus Christ carried his own cross. But he wasn't able to and was helped to carry it. The correct spelling is bear, not bare.

What did Jesus meant when he said carry your cross?

Your cross to carry is your own problem and how or what you are doing to fix it or make it better. For example my cross to carry is lying, I am always doing it but lately I have began to stop and people have helped me.AnswerMy cross at present is seeing persons openly, deliberately, and willfully attack the Christian faith, of which they are largely ignorant, telling Christians what they must believe, yet accusing Christians of being closed minded, ignorant, stupid etc ,putting off-topic answers which cannot be touched without complaint, yet requiring Christians to be silent to their blasphemy and all this knowing that nothing will be done and it will continue unabated. Answer:The Bible tells us Christ died on the cross so that we could have life and have it more abundantly, therefore we should not carry something Christ carried for us.

Why is the cross considered a sacred symbol of Christianity?

Christ was crucified on the cross. Many crucifixes show Christ's crucifixion. An empty cross implies the Resurrection.
