It's still in the middle of the car, surprisingly, even European people prefer to not have to climb over the gear lever to get into the car.
Irrespective of what side the steering wheel is, the gear lever is in the centre. On 99% of cars, first gear would be top right of the shift gate, with 5th gear top left, also irrespective of which side the steering wheel is.
Yes that is correct
European foot controls are identical to North American foot controls except for the British Isles, which drive on the "wrong" side of the road. Foot controls are the same, in GB, with the accellerator furthest right, brake next then the clutch, for vehicles that use a stick shift. +++ OI! It's not the "wrong" side to us, in the UK and Eire! The control layouts are the same, but on the other side of the car.
You Stratus has what is called Auto-Stick. You can "manually" shift the gears by putting it in the +/- position and moving the shifter side to side. You Stratus has what is called Auto-Stick. You can "manually" shift the gears by putting it in the +/- position and moving the shifter side to side.
They're not. Did you mean in UK.
same as an American car clutch brake accelerator
It should be the stick closest to you is up for out and down for in, the passenger side stick is up for low range middle for neutral and down for hi range.
Some European built cars have no Dipstick in the Automatic transmission. These can not be checked unless an aftermarket dip stick are installed. They are "Filled For Life" If this is a manual transmission most have a plug on the side of the gear box to check the level.
one and its on the left hand side. the fog light is usually on the right.
I assume it is a stick-shift? The transmission will have a plug located on the side, where you can add fluid, if needed.
IF IT'S STICK SHIFT IT DOES NOT HAVE ONE! JOSE If it is an A/T standing in front of the vehicle it will be on your right side, driver side, down low, on the transmission.
Some automatic sticks have a release button on them to press. It may be located on the side or the top of the shift knob.
In a car with manual gearbox, the brake pedal is usually in the middle. In my first car, the accelerator was in the middle, which caused a few 'interesting' moments! In American cars with automatic transmission, the brake is on the left and the accelerator on the right. On a standard transmission (stick-shift), the brake is in the middle, with the clutch on the left and accelerator on the right.
