It was the sin of of rebellion (1 Samuel 15:22-23). This type of sin is not done out of ignorance; neither was is committed in a moment of overcomeing some physical or emotional barrier (or the fesh). This was a purposeful rejection of the will of God. However, we must remember that the Old Testament reflects the Law. Saul, David, Moses etc were all under the law and had to obey to the letter the word of God. If not the penalties were harsh and most often resulted in death of the person breaking the law. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, Romans 6:23''. We are no longer under the law but under grace. John 3:16 for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son that who ever believes in him shall have everlasting life. Rev C. L. Hall
1) He didn't wait a full week before offering up a certain sacrifice to God (1 Samuel ch.13), as Samuel had told him to do (1 Samuel 10:8). 2) He spared the life of Agag (king of Amalek) in war, against God's command (1 Samuel ch.15).

Saul made other errors as well, but is for the above two reasons that the verses state that he could not remain king.

No. Adultery is sin and God cannot sin.
David was a man after God's own heart and, despite his sin, showed a willingness to repent which Saul did not.

I think the ultimate sin that we as Christians commit is Worry.
In Christianity it doesn't matter what sin you commit its the same as any other sin for example to lie is just as bad as murder in gods mind.
No, if you are a Christian, you believe God will forgive you of every sin you commit if you are willing to repent, confess your sin, and forsake the sin you committed. Allah has no part in the Christian religion.
How do you repent from sin? Ask God for forgiveness and guidance in repenting as well as the gift of the Holy Spirit but not before you confess your sin to the LORD. Have faith when praying to God. Try to avoid people, places, and situations wherein you tend to commit said sin so often. Do good deeds. Keep and obey the commandments of God.
God is used as the definition of morality for many people. To be moral, one must "do as God does." Since sin is the violation of morality, God does not (and cannot) sin, because it would be the exact opposite of what he is.
Satan/Devil when he tried to take over Heaven, and was then removed by GodActually when this question is asked, people usually want to know in human reference of who committed the first sin. Here is the answer:The first human sin was committed by Eve in the Garden of Eden, when she ate of the fruit that God had forbidden Adam or Eve to eat from.
thou shalt not sin. it is a sin to commit murder.
God does not hate anyone and therefore neither should we. Hate is a sin that even the best Christian will fail at once in a while. The trick is to ask forgiveness and try not to do it again. GOD hates the devil and the sin we commit.
